We're facing many challenges in our goal to stand for young people and children’s access to art such as: improving participation, supporting national centers and professional networks, and promoting inclusion. I consider myself fortunate to have been elected to be part of the Executive Committee which is responsible for implementing the work plan approved by the Assembly. It is a significant responsibility to represent a great number of centres and networks, as well as numerous individuals and projects, however, I look around and I see a great team to walk this path with.

Festival Internacional de Teatro para los Primeros Años 2024 (FITPA)

Tenemos muchos retos por delante en nuestro objetivo para la defensa del derecho de acceso al arte de niños, niñas y jóvenes: mejorar la participación, el apoyo a centros nacionales y redes profesionales, fomentar la inclusión, ... Tengo la suerte de haber sido elegido para formar parte del Comité ejecutivo encargado de llevar a cabo el plan de trabajo aprobado por la Asamblea. Es una gran responsabilidad representar a tantos centros nacionales y redes, tantas personas y proyectos, pero miro a los lados y encuentro un gran equipo con el que recorrer este camino.

En effet, dans cette mission qui est la nôtre de faciliter et de renforcer l’accès à l’art pour les enfants et les jeunes, nous sommes confrontés à de nombreux défis tels que : améliorer la participation, soutenir les centres nationaux d’ASSITEJ et les réseaux professionnels ainsi que promouvoir l’inclusion. Je me considère chanceux d’avoir été élu pour faire partie du Comité exécutif qui est chargé de mettre en œuvre le plan d’action approuvé par l’Assemblée Générale. C’est une responsabilité importante de représenter un grand nombre de centres nationaux et de réseaux, ainsi que de nombreu.x.ses. artistes et projets, mais lorsque je regarde autour de moi, je me rend compte que je fais partie d’une superbe équipe avec laquelle parcourir ce chemin.

The energy and inspiration from the ASSITEJ World Congress in Havana made a lasting impression on me. ASSITEJ Cuba and so many others did a tremendous job creating and hosting the 21st ASSITEJ World Congress. It was an amazing experience in many ways. But, without the time, money, obstacle-tackling, and courage that so many delegates invested in their journey to Havana, there would be no Congress. I think one of the greatest strengths of the ASSITEJ network is that so many members give a lot of themselves - both from their professional capacity and their heart.

Appel à l’écriture théâtrale francophone pour la jeunesse

La energía e inspiración del Congreso Mundial de ASSITEJ en La Habana me ha causado una impresión duradera. ASSITEJ Cuba y tantos otros han hecho un trabajo tremendo creando y acogiendo el XXI Congreso Mundial de ASSITEJ. Fue una experiencia increíble en muchos sentidos. Pero, sin el tiempo, el dinero, la superación de obstáculos y el coraje que tantos delegados invirtieron en su viaje a La Habana, no habría Congreso. Creo que uno de los mayores puntos fuertes de la red ASSITEJ es que tantos miembros dan mucho de sí mismos, tanto desde su capacidad profesional como desde su corazón.

L'énergie et l'inspiration du Congrès mondial de l'ASSITEJ à La Havane m'ont laissé une impression durable. ASSITEJ Cuba et tant d'autres ont fait un travail formidable en créant et en accueillant le 21e Congrès mondial d'ASSITEJ. Ce fut une expérience extraordinaire à bien des égards. Mais sans le temps, l'argent, les obstacles et le courage que tant de délégués ont investis dans leur voyage à La Havane, il n'y aurait pas de congrès. Je pense que l'une des plus grandes forces du réseau ASSITEJ est que tant de membres donnent beaucoup d'eux-mêmes - à la fois de leur capacité professionnelle et de leur cœur.

“Region” is all about what we share. “Region” is also about identity. But most importantly, “region” is the strength we gain by being together. “Region” will also play an important role in the work of our Association in the years to come. As it was announced in Havana, each three-year cycle will consist of a World Congress and only one Artistic Gathering instead of two. This will give ASSITEJ the opportunity to work more on regional development, with more details being announced in the months to come. I strongly believe that this regional focus will enable National Centres and Networks to build strong collaborations and projects, which may in turn lead to wider collaborations on a global level.
