Esmoriz is home to the largest hub of cooperage craftsmanship in its territory. Preserving this ancestral art means ensuring its continuity. To revive the past, it is necessary to expand into the future. The interdisciplinary festival of contemporary performing arts, TAN TAN TANN, reflects this community’s interest in activating the Museological Centre of Cooperage in Esmoriz.
June 12 and 13 at 9:30 PM at Tanoaria Josafer in Esmoriz, Portugal.

MEMORABILIA
Alma d’Arame
Object Theatre
In MEMORABILIA, the relationship between object and performer is enhanced through manipulation, image projection, and live sound illustration. The physical space of the performance is thus reconstructed within a digital environment, creating a diversity of scales and viewpoints that gradually transform ordinary objects into acts of pure unpredictability.
PUÇANGA Voice and Electronics
Puçanga is a singer, songwriter, and producer based in Portugal. The word “Puçanga” means spell or homemade remedy. A strong, haunting voice merges with the dark, bass-driven tones of experimental electronic music. Inspired by folklore and songs of resistance, her music explores themes of social justice, feminism, and the electric charge of emotions.

ANGÉLICA SALVI
Harp and Electronics
The harpist is dedicated to improvisation and contemporary and electroacoustic music, exploring various techniques of instrument preparation and amplification in search of new timbres and sound textures. Drawing from the acrobatics of breathing (inhaling, exhaling) and the dynamics of tides, in this concert, Salvi explores repetition as a driving force for a rhythmic and immersive trance. An inner journey, both dreamlike and intimate, where winding and tropical soundscapes emerge, crossing references as diverse as Papé Nziengui and Alice Coltrane.
JAVIER ARANDA

Javier Aranda, actor and puppeteer, trained at the Zaragoza Theatre School. He has worked for over 20 years with various theatre companies, including Teatro del Temple, Teatro Arbolé, Teatro Gayarre, and the Centro Dramático de Aragón, among others. 10 Years of Tan Tan Tann
Brochure Edition
On this commemorative date, we would like to offer the public a special small edition marking a decade of work. Over these 10 years, many of the artists featured in this festival were unique in Portugal, and several began successful careers here. Many names now part of the mainstream artistic landscape passed through Tan Tan Tann at the beginning of their journeys. This edition is a living memory of the work developed around cooperage over the past decade.
