For their new production BUBBLE JAM directed by Daniel Wetzel the Berlin based theatre group Rimini Protokoll is looking for interested coproducing partners.
BUBBLE JAM kicks off with questions related to the participants’ everyday usage of and experience with the digital, e.g. games, platforms, social networks.
And invites the young audiences to participate in an experiment.
Equipped with a smart phone based device they constitute both: the spectators and the protagonists.
Partners could be all kinds of venues within theatre, performance or educational contexts.
The coproduction partnership would include a financial contribution to the production phase in Athens as well as showing the project at the partner’s venue.
The opening takes place within November 2018 and is mainly founded by Onassis Cultural Foundation (Athens).
Following the opening the project will be available for touring.
It is developed for an audience of 50-60 people from age 10 on but equally accessible for an elderly audience.
