Julia Dina Heße and Meike Fechner hosted a workshop on music theatre during the
ASSITEJ Artistic Gathering in Beijing. The name of the workshop had changed several times
and thus stimulated a discussion about the relationship between musicals and music theatre,
the necessity of live music, access to theatre for all children and the role of music in the
communication between stage and audience. We would like to thank the organisers and all
participants and will share more information soon.
