Call for Performances Japan 2018

TYA Japan and ASSITEJ Japan Centre are looking for 15 performances for children and young audiences from Asian countries for Asia International Festival of Performing Arts for Children and Young Audiences in Japan held in February, 2018. http://assitej-japan.jp/?p=412

Festival in Tokyo
Dates: February 20th, Tue ~ 25th, Sun, 2018
Venues: National Olympics Memorial Youth Center, Geinoh Kadensha and etc.

Local Festivals
Dates: February 16th, Fri ~ 18th, Sun, 2018
Locations (tentative) : Sapporo, Fukushima, Nagoya, Osaka, Fukuoka, and Okinawa

Deadline for Application : September 30th, 2016

Final Selection is announced on : November 4th, 2016
Performances submitted to the festival shall fulfill the following criteria:

-Performing arts organizations or individuals active mainly in Asia
-Performing arts pieces for audiences of the aged 0 to 18
-All the genres are welcome as long as it is a performing arts piece
-One organization or individual can only apply for one production
-Duration of a production should be 45 to 75 min.

Conditions for participations:

-Performance fee is maximum of 150,000 yen per performance and 3 performances are guaranteed.
-The number of members whose accommodations are guaranteed is 8.
-Domestic transportations for festival activities shall be paid.
-International airfares and transportation costs are not provided.
-If the number of members is exceeded, it is the applicant’s responsibility to pay for accommodations and domestic transportations for the extra members.
