The International Theatre Festival for Young Audiences NAKS 2024 will showcase the versatility of theatre for children and youngsters, breaking down artistic and thematic boundaries and engaging audiences in an honest way. It presents theatre in all its diversity: visual theatre, puppet theatre, spoken word, dance, music, and contemporary circus. The programme is designed for audiences who generally have fewer theatrical experiences, such as infants or young people with special needs (i.e. hearing deficiencies and visually impaired, autism spectrum disorder).

We are excited to host many wonderful theatre companies like Barrowland Ballet from Scotland, Dansema Dance Theatre from Lithuania, Bobbi Lo Produktion and Dockteatern Tittut from Sweden, Katanari from Slovakia, and Estonian presenters like Big Wolf Company, ZUGA Dancers, VAT Theatre, Piip and Tuut Theatre, Estonian Theatre for Young Audiences, Must Kast, Miksteater and other companies with some of their newest shows for children and young people and kids with special needs. There will also be discussions, workshops, a youth program, public readings of plays, a conference on children’s and youth culture and of course the festival clubs.

We are offering a festival pass with reduced price (50% off) to all our international guests from ASSITEJ networks and centers to get full access to the program. You can purchase the festival pass with only 34 euros until 1st of September 2024. Tickets are on sale here (enter a promo/presale code “assitej” and submit).
