ASSITEJ Sri Lanka and Somlatha Subasingh Play House were working together to contribute to ASSITEJ
International initiative to Take a Child to the Theater. Somalatha Subasinghe Play House is taking
theatre productions to schools with assistance of regional theatre enthusiasts. This is because taking a
child to the theatre is far from reality in remote areas of the country. On 26 th April Play House group
performed “Goldilocks and Three Bears” in a school in down South of the country. Until June This year
there are several performances in schools are lined up.
