In April 2018 Theatre Epicentre organises the 1st Croatian TYA and Puppet theatre Showcase. It takes places between April 23rd and 27th in four Croatian towns – Čakovec, Osijek, Karlovac and Zadar with thirteen performances by ten youth and/or puppet theatres and production companies to domestic audience and foreign producers.
In December 2017. Theatre Epicentre had an open call for Croatian youth and/or puppet theatres and production companies to apply for Showcase with their latest productions. The jury formed by professionals: Miran Hajos (president of Theatre Epicentre), Romano Bogdan (president of Croatian Assitej), Jasminka Mesaric (president of Croatian centre UNIMA), Iris Pavic – Tumpa and Leo Vukelic, chose the thirteen best performances from all Croatia among many applications.
Main goal of this showcase is to promote and present Croatian TYA and Puppet theatre productions to Croatian audience and to foreign producers, who can open doors of many festivals and other activities in Europe and the rest of the world for these theatres or production companies.
