The 2016 edition of “1 day, 1 play”, the instant playwriting game organised by ASSITEJ France with the help of Write Local, Play Global, to celebrate the World Theatre Day, has been a great success, and a real enjoyment for all the readers and participants. Not less than 38 original short plays written in 24 hours, were sent from 12 countries on the theme “The Other”, proposed by our associate playwright of the year, Catherine Verlaguet. The youngest author is 11!
