Since 2013, DZIECINADA has been building bridges between children and the world of theatre, art, and culture. As the only international children’s theatre festival in Lower Silesia – and one of the largest in Poland – it creates an inspiring space for young audiences aged 0–15, their families, teachers, and caregivers.

The 11th edition, taking place on 10–14 September 2025 in Wrocław and across Lower Silesia, will be the first in a biennial format. The program features more than 60 events: stage and outdoor performances, workshops, concerts, interactive installations, and meetings with artists. Theatre companies from Poland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Norway, Germany, and Lithuania will present a rich variety of forms – from puppetry, musical theatre, and physical theatre to sensory and inclusive performances.

Accessibility and inclusivity are at the heart of the festival. The program will include productions with actors with Down syndrome, autism spectrum, and physical disabilities, as well as shows adapted for children who are blind, deaf, or with special needs. With symbolic ticket prices, free events, and the outreach program DZIECINADA on Tour, the festival ensures that children from all backgrounds can experience the magic of theatre.

A highlight of 2025 will be the colorful Festival Town in Leśnica – a creative space full of performances, workshops, circus activities, and hands-on experiences where families can spend the whole day discovering the joy of theatre.

What’s more, DZIECINADA also hosts networking meetings for international children’s theatre festival organizers and companies focused on creating programs for the youngest audiences, offering a platform for exchange, collaboration, and new partnerships.

DZIECINADA is more than a festival – it’s an idea. It teaches children empathy, creativity, and openness, while offering unforgettable shared experiences for audiences of all ages.
