Every two years, the small town of Baden hosts a gathering of the international and national puppetry scene. From 16 to 21 June 2026, audiences of all ages will be spoilt for choice with around 30 different events at this festival of animated forms. Sightseeing experiences are included, as Figura takes to the streets and squares of Baden, Wettingen and neighbouring communities, as well as the stages.
Supporting young talent is just as much a priority as inclusion. Diversity is not only showcased but also practised across the various areas of the festival. Founded in 1992, the festival is regarded as the most significant of its kind in German-speaking Switzerland and enjoys international recognition.
