ASSITEJ Germany publishes latest study results on independent performing arts for young audiences
The evaluation study of the funding program ‘NEUSTART KULTUR – Junges Publikum’ deals with the socio-economic situation of independent theatres for children and young people. In the latest issue of ixypsilonzett with the title “Wie macht ihr das?!” (How do you do that?!), these are presented and discussed.

The network for child and youth participation in theatre is growing
130 people – among them children and young people were far in the majority – came together for a weekend to talk about the possibilities of collaborative practice in theatres. How can young people help shape and decide within the structures of theatres? The programme, consisting of workshops, panels and exchange formats, was conceived and implemented by the children and young people from ten nationwide committees. ASSITEJ Germany and its centre of expertise, “Kinder- und Jugendtheaterzentrum in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland” continue to pursue the topic of participation.
