Open Call: WLPG Programme at ASSITEJ Artistic Gathering 2023 - ASSITEJ International Skip to main content

The theme of the ASSITEJ Artistic Gathering in Serbia is “Turning Point”. Write Local. Play Global, the ASSITEJ playwright network, is collaborating with the AAG conference organizers to help highlight the work of playwrights.

You are invited to write a 3-minute theatrical monologue using the festival’s theme.

Are you experiencing a personal turning point? Is there one in your country or region?  Is there a turning point you would like the world to make?

The monologues should be written in your home language.  A panel of judges will choose a number of pieces which the writers will deliver in person at the festival.  All monologues submitted will be published online on the Write Local.
