ASSITEJ Ukraine expresses its sincere gratitude for the solidarity and support of many initiatives of Ukrainian artists in 2022. The participation of representatives of the Ukrainian theater for children in festivals, the work of emergency projects for children evacuated from different regions, became possible thanks to the support of ASSITEJ International. We send our great regards to the artists of Sweden, Germany, Lithuania, Poland, Great Britain, Estonia, Cyprus, and Japan, who warmed us with friendly and effective support.

Our work in 2023 began in the first days of January. Choreographer Nadiia Matsiuk took part in the residency “..UND IHRE KINDER/ …AND HER CHILDREN”, which brought to Berlin choreographers and playwrights from different continents to explore complex topics of today.

What is more, participants from Chernihiv, Lviv, Kyiv are already preparing for online interaction with the artists of the British theater “The Fetch Theater”, so that Ukrainian families with children who have found shelter in other countries can continue to communicate in the language of the theater.
