Thursday October 28 in the frame of the Visioni Festival 2021 at the Testoni Ragazzi theater
in Bologna there will be a day of meetings and conversations between delegates, artists and
presenters focused on dance for children.
The meeting is organized by the Assitej Young Dance Network in collaboration with the Festival “Visions of the future, visions of theater 2021”, organized by La Baracca-Testoni Ragazzi of Bologna with the patronage of the International Small-size Network.
This is a first organized exchange of experiences between dance and theatre professionals doing
research for young audiences for the purpose of asking questions and stimulating dialogue between
different languages and expressions of dance in relationship with children and young people.
The meeting is divided into two parts:
- A live meeting from 10.00 to 13.00
“The body is speaking”: The choreographer and trainer Roberto Casarotto will lead this
workshop addressing some important issues of reflection starting from the body.
- An international online meeting from 15.00 to 18.00 promoting exchange of
information and ideas
15.00-15.30 A short presentation of the Assitej Young Dance Network. Its history and its aims
15.30-16.30 An online workshop hosted by Alfredo Zinola testing a speed dating format
16.30-18.00 An online workshop hosted by Omar Meza where we look into subjects like fund
raising, organizing, building of infrastructure, audience relations for DYA
