The VP ASSITEJ Pamela Udoka who is also the President of ASSITEJ Nigeria was invited to be part of a meeting aimed at discussing the potential theatrical relationship between ASSITEJ Nigeria and ASSITEJ Bangladesh with the National Troupe of Nigeria as a facilitator and part of such a collaboration. Incidentally, the Director, Technical and Production Services of the National Troupe of Nigeria and the Children’s Theatre department is also under the supervision of Pamela Udoka in her regular job. The Artistic Director, of the National Troupe of Nigeria, Mr. Ahmed Mohammed Ahmed was favorably disposed to the idea and promised his support
Aunty Shine Shine (Seun Odukoya),a Nigerian Raconteur, KC of Creative Hands Arts and Gifted Steppers led by Oma among other individuals like Minka Bassey, Artistic Director Barnim Academy-Calabar-Nigeria, and troupe like Arojah Theatre ( Jerry Adesewo) respectively marked the Children’s’ Day on the 27th May 2021, and the Day of the African Child on the 16th June 2021 with varying developmental as well as pedagogical themes. It is worthy to note that Creative Hands Art Culture project is aimed at youth artistes training to re-orientate younger people and expose them to various arts and social entrepreneurship platforms. The aim is towards Arts enterprise for National development. Mr Jerry Adesewo’s Arojah Theatre has been engaged in Artiste training like: The Art of Puppetry and also Training on At Management : Fund Raising and Artiste Management. The important thing about what he does is the synergistic tie with Northern Ireland and some African Countries.
