As in previous months, ASSITEJ – Azerbaijan National Center – Azerbaijan State Theater of Young Spectators attaches great importance to the expansion and further development new mutual creative relationships with foreign theaters.
In June, Azerbaijan State Theater of Young Spectators continued the process of developing the theater and school relations. So young and professional actors of the theater, as well as schoolchildren have the opportunity to demonstrate their skills on the same stage.
The creative team of Azerbaijan State Theater of Young Spectators – ASSİTEJ-Azerbaijan National Center presented a new performance “The Smurfs” by P.Culliford for schoolchildren on June 2. The pompous performances of the schoolchildren are characterized by benevolent feelings such as benevolence, emancipation of people, and living in a friendly and kind manner.
In June 2, the premier of “The Mother” by Huseyn Javid was performed on the stage of Azerbaijan State Theater of Young Spectators.
The creative team of Azerbaijan State Theater of Young Spectators – ASSİTEJ-Azerbaijan National Center presented a new performance “Lazy Ahmed” on June 10. The performance “Lazy Ahmed”, staged on the basis of the Azerbaijani folk tale and approved in the repertoire of the theater, and it boosts high human qualities such as kindness, hard work and dedication to young people and adolescents.
Shovgi Huseynov, an actor of Azerbaijan State Theatre of Young Spectators participated in “Vidlunya” XX International Monodram Theatre Festival with the “Contrabass” mono-play by P.Suskind that was held in Ukraine on 5-16 June.
The trainings, master-classes and discussions were held within the festival. The Azerbaijani actor was awarded with the “Best scene resolution and actor game” diploma at the festival that held at Ukrainian “Kut Mono” theater.
