Open your eyes, prick up your ears, the story is starting….” For 15 years Nicole and Martin have been travelling the roads and seas of Europe, pitching their magical White Tent, and enchanting audiences with their unique travelling theatre. Inside the renowned White Tent the world of theatre and fairy-tale come to life. Ancient folk tales take on a new guise with Nicole & Martin’s unmistakable story-telling style. Children and adults alike are taken on an unforgettable journey. Award-winning masterpiece shows combine narrative, music, song, dance, juggling, acrobatics, laughter, goosebumps and wild imagination for the whole family.

We are an independent not-for-profit theatre company that creates, produces, performs and tours our own work. We were founded by performers Nicole and Martin Gubler-Shranz out of a desire to create truly communal theatre without borders of location, age, language, money or background. We travel withour own Theatre which we put up everywhere that we go. It seats from 330-350.

We are passionate about the power of storytelling, about theatre, and about reaching the child in all of us. We have dedicated ourselves to reaching the highest level of skill we possibly can. As well as visiting towns, cities and villages, we are committed to reaching audiences in rural locations where there is not regular access to theatre. As a result we live in our wooden wagons all the year round, and tour for eight months each year, and try to go anywhere we are invited. We work with people and organisations who share our values and our passionate belief in theatre, in stories, and in our audiences. Our shows begin from Tales as collected by the brothers Grimm.
