From July 10 – August 25 the 6th China Children’s Theatre Festival took place in Beijing organized by China National Theatre for Children, ASSITEJ China on the topic of “Light Children’s Heart and Shape the Future-Build Chinese Dream Together”.

The 6th China Children’s Theatre Festival lasted for 49 days, gathering around 46 excellent drama works of 25 art groups from more than 7 countries and districts, such as China, America, Romania, Lithuania, Japan, South Korea, Spain and Australia, etc., with 215 shows and more than 15 drama activities, which benefited more than 160 thousand audience members. Besides Beijing, the festival also held branch sessions in three other cities, including Jinan, Chengdu and Ningbo.

China Children’s Theatre Festival has been successfully held for six years since 2011. Through excellent international drama performances and communications, children’s drama seminars and various drama activities, China Children’s Theatre Festival has become an important window to display domestic and foreign drama achievements; provided a great platform to promote the developments and communications, as well as a new bridge to gather strength and supports.
