For World Day of Theatre, we had a ceremony of the Professional Theatre Award “ENLIKGUL” on March 28. Member of our center Nurkanat Zhakypbay – artistic director of theatre of youth in Astana won in a nomination “Director of the Year”.
In “ENLIKGUL” contest, which is held for the sixth year in a row, 320 candidates attended from public and private theatres.
The Union of theatrical actors of Kazakhstan determined the winners of the Professional Theatre Award “ENLIKGUL 2016” for:
– “Actor of the Year”;
– “Actress of the Year”;
– “Director of the Year”;
– “For contribution to the performing arts”;
– “Opera (operetta), ballet party of the year”;
– “Creative work in the play for children” (puppet, children, youth performances);
– “Artist of the Year”;
and seven special awards:
– “Playwright of the Year”;
– “Teatrovedchesky Article of the Year”;
– “Theatre Manager of the Year”;
– “Musical designer of the year”;
– “Artistic lighting design performance”;
– “Artist of the Year of Theatre Orchestra”;
– “Make-up artist of the year”.
