ASSITEJ Mexico would like to congratulate Yoloxóchitl García Santamaría, who won ASSITEJ Spain’s Juan Cervera Essay Award with her essay “Current Prospects for Playwriting for Children in Mexico”.

Yoloxóchitl has written and directed various TYA plays in Mexico as well as given art, theatre and puppetry workshops.
