With the election dates in Nigeria shifted from the 14th of February 2015 to the 28th of March 2015, the celebration of World Day of Theatre for Children and Young People in Nigeria appeared bleak with all the uncertainties and apprehensions. But we are delighted to report that the event took place due to the enthusiasm and excitement of members, family and friends of the Nigeria Centre and the support of the members of ASSITEJ Nigeria Board of Trustees including the Chairman Mr. Chike Madueke, Mrs. Amira Obi’-Okoye, Mrs. Efe Etomi, and the Artistic Director of the National Troupe of Nigeria, Mr. Akin Adejuwon.ASSITEJ Nigeria
