Call for listeners
The VII International Forum Of Researchers And Critics Of The Performing Arts For Children And Youth (AEIJ) organised by the Association of Independent Theatre for Children and Adolescents (ATINA) in collaboration with the International Theatre Researchers Network for Children and Youth (ITYARN), both members of ASSITEJ International, with the aim of stimulating the development of research in this field at national and international level, is now open for registration.
The VII Forum will take place from 6th to 10th October 2025 in the city of Buenos Aires at ARGENTORES (Argentinean Association of Authors), Pacheco de Melo 1820.
The theme of the VII Forum will be:
‘The Space In The Performing Arts For Children And Youth’.
The thematic proposal understands SPACE in a broad sense that allows different approaches:
1- The stage space itself and its aesthetic approach.
2- The physical spaces of representation: theatres, public spaces, museums, schools, clubs, etc.
3- The space they occupy within arts training institutions.
4- The space occupied by the AEIJ within local, national or international culture.
5- The space occupied by the AEIJs in national or international public policies.
The programme will include lectures, readings of papers, plenary sessions, round tables, debates and workshops by researchers and creators of the YEYAs from different countries.
The Forum will be face-to-face and streamed.
The working language is Spanish/Portuguese and English with simultaneous translation.
Participants and exhibitors will also be able to attend specially selected performances from the local programme and parallel events such as readings of dramatic texts and workshops.
Participation in the Forum is free of charge and certificates will be awarded for 80% attendance.
