After the huge success of the 2nd Maas International Theatre Festival last year, we are back again!
Maas Foundation, a co-founder of ASSITEJ Pakistan, is delighted to announce the open call this time for international applications for the most colorful and vibrant 3rd Maas International Theatre Festival 2026, which will be organized in mid-October 2026 (exact dates will be announced later) at the cultural hub and heart of Pakistan, the city of Lahore. The call is open for all nationalities and countries.
This festival will witness theatre performances, theatre workshops from experts and gurus, and panel discussions regarding the theatre world and fraternity.
MITF 2026 is open for all types of theatre performances, including theatre for young audiences, theatre for adults, mono drama, puppetry, sensory theatre, mime, contemporary, etc., with no specific theme, but priority will be given to non-verbal or plays in the English language that also rely on creative, innovative solutions.
