IIAN is excited to announce our end-of-2025 Coffee Session!
We invite you to come together, celebrate and build community on Tuesday, 11th November at 9 am AND at 2 pm CET.
What is a Coffee Session?
It’s a moment to get to know each other better, exchange ideas, network, or discuss work in an informal way. It’s an opportunity to come together with other practitioners in the field of inclusion and access.
What will happen during a IIAN Coffee Session?
The global community of practitioners, artists and theatre makers engaged in projects on cultural accessibility and inclusive participation will meet and share ideas, best practice, practical tools and, last but not least, know better the IIAN Board and the activity of the Association.
- In the first part we ask your help: IIAN is in the process of building an Inclusive Toolkit. Our Toolkit offers guidance for inclusive practice. As a global organization, we need to ensure that we have global resources and experiences.
- In the second part, we are excited to share three best practices from the participants.
How to Participate
You can participate in two ways:
- We are looking for 2-3 featured practitioners for each session to present a question or provocation of maximum 5-7 minutes. By question or provocation, we mean something that is offered to an audience to stimulate discussion and new thinking. This question or provocation should be focused on the idea of building tools and knowledge of inclusive practice from around the world. Following the provocations, the practitioner and a member of the IIAN board will host a breakout space to build discussion. Apply to be a Featured Practitioner. Deadline: 1st November 2025
- We invite you to participate in the coffee session. Join the discussion, respond to the provocation and help IIAN build the knowledge base we need to move inclusive practice forward.
IIAN is looking forward to meet you!
