The winning text of the XXII ASSITEJ Spain Award for Theater for Children and Youth “Mi sueño de invierno” by author Nieves Rodríguez Rodríguez, will have its world premiere in June with a production of the Mexican company Tijuana Hace Teatro under the direction of Ramón Verdugo, in the city of Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. The play deals with the journey of a family that, after fleeing their country, is denied asylum in a new place, which triggers a “resignation syndrome” in one of the daughters and with it a new stage of life for everyone at home.
