The third edition of the International Online Theatre Festival for Young People “Better than Us” will take place August 24 – 29, 2021.

The goal of the festival is to give the young people who love theatre an opportunity to participate in an international online event, watch theatre productions from other countries, think, discuss, hear the voices of peers from different parts of the world and theatre professionals involved in the creation of the productions, and feel that the world is still there.

The festival audience will consist of the Active Group and the general audience. The Active Group of the festival is 20 young people aged 15-25, who will watch shows online and then discuss them with a moderator and the theatre in focus in the format of a video conference. 

The general audience – theatre professionals, festival programmers, teachers and all interested audience. They will also be able to watch the festival shows, connect to video conferences, ask questions or leave comments in writing.

Selection criteria for the shows: topic and/or esthetics making it interesting for discussion, high quality video.

Selection criteria are your interest and an ability to express yourself in English. It doesn’t have to be perfect!
