Dear professionals of theatre for young audiences. The Quantara association, individual member of the ASSITEJ in Tunisia, warmly invites you to participate in the event “At the theater this weekend”, in the cities of the region of Nabeul.

Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and during school holidays until December 2021, the association wishes to offer Tunisian and international shows for young audiences. We are looking for light productions, compatible with stages with minimal equipment, indoors and outdoors. Through this project, we wish to develop a taste for the performing arts, culture and exchanges among our children’s audience, including disabled children, teenagers, and the adults around them. The performances will be an opportunity for dialogue between the artists and the children.

Theatre, shadow theatre, object theatre, puppet theatre, clown theatre, mask theatre are welcome, and performances can be in Arabic, French, English and other languages (Spanish, German, Russian and Italian).

Support

the artists’ stay lasts five days (4 nights)

Artists will be covered for accommodation, food and transportation. They will be paid an expense allowance. Air travel costs might be covered through cooperation between Quantara and cultural institutes.
