The University of Stavanger invites applicants for a 2 year Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the field of Performing Arts and Aesthetics at the Faculty of Art and Education Department of Early Childhodd Educaion. The position is vacant from August 2020.

The objective of the position is to strengthen research, and to give researchers/scholars holding a doctoral degree within relevant academic fields the opportunity for further qualification toward full professorship.
The appointment is for two years of research duties exclusively. Some compulsory duties within teaching and supervision can be included in the employment periode. The appointment period will then be extended corresponding to the scope of this work. This must be clarified during the recruitment process.
The postdoctoral position is linked to FILIORUM – Centre for Research in Early Childhood Education and Care, a national research centre funded by the Research Council of Norway. The centre started in August 2018 and focuses on research related to quality in the diverse ECECs. FILIORUM’s overall goal is to promote belonging, communication and play for all children. The centre will contribute innovative research on quality for diversity, innovation and policy design. FILIORUM will be a national hub for the ECEC sector, and communication at all levels has a high priority.
