La Fabrique de la Danse (which stands for “The Dance Factory” in French) is a startup founded in 2015 which has launched a variety of training programs dedicated to choreographers who are willing to develop and strengthen their entrepreneurship skills. Our core program, known in France as the first “Incubateur de chorégraphes” (French for “incubator for choreographers”), is a year-long program for emerging, French-speaking artists. Up to date, it has welcomed more than 50 choreographers.
In July 2020, we are offering the third edition of our English-speaking program called “Business and Creative Lab for Choreographers”. It aims at giving dancers and choreographers the chance to build up their business skills while working on their choreography to help further drive their ambition. It consists of daily choreography workshops, one-on-one feedback sessions, and training in production, communication, budget design, etc. Applications are due by May 31st, 2020, and participants can enjoy an early bird fee of a 20% discount until the end of February 2020.
