From 7 to 18 October, Scènes d’enfance – ASSITEJ France organizes a TYA exploration programme for the French Ministry of Culture
This seminar is aimed at experienced French-speaking professionals (administrators of cultural structures, artists directing cultural structures, cultural project managers, cultural managers of local authorities, responsible for the development and management of cultural policies) from all countries (including non-francophone), contributing in their country of origin to the development and conduct of cultural projects.
The seminar proposes to cover, in all fields of artistic creation (performing arts, visual arts, digital creation), creation and mediation mechanisms for young people from early childhood to the end of adolescence, and in particular the following topics:
- Writing for young people
- The address to young people and the family
- Creative economy for young people
- The work of network structures
This seminar, organised by Scènes d’enfance – ASSITEJ France, will bring together in Paris and outside some fifteen cultural leaders. It will encourage participants to share their experiences.
The Ministry of Culture will cover:
– learning costs;
– subsistence costs (accommodation and per diem);
– domestic travel within France for the purposes of the programme;
– insurance.
Attention: the international travel ticket is not covered and must be paid either by the applicant, his or her home institution, the French Embassy or the French Institute of the country of residence, or any other body.

The application forms will be downloadable from the Ministry of Culture website (http://www.culturecommunication.gouv.fr/politiques-ministerielles/Europe-et-international/accueil-et-formation).
Once completed, this file must be sent to the French Embassy (Service de coopération et d’action culturelle) or to the French Institute of the applicant’s country of residence, which will review it and send it after having issued a reasoned opinion on the application:
no later than 19 June 2019 to the Ministry of Culture at : contact-international@culture.gouv.fr
This seminar will be the subject of a rigorous selection process by the jury set up by the Ministry of Culture and Scenes d’enfance – ASSITEJ France, which will assess the applications on the basis of the following criteria:
– quality of the professional approach on which the application is based;
– structuring effect of the seminar for the candidate’s home institution;
– prospects for developing institutional cooperation between the home country and France, as well as between the countries represented.
