⏰ Deadline: 24 April 2019
🌍 Luxemburg, LUX
🗓 17 – 21 June 2019

The Rotondes (Luxemburg) have invited Johan De Smet, artistic director of the Kopergietery in Ghent, to lead the fourth edition of the Labo Pro, their annual training week for artists. Actors, directors, and theatre pedagogues are welcome to apply!

“Everything may have already been done, but not by you” is the theme around which the masterclass evolves. Authenticity and uniqueness are taken as starting points of the creation. The participants will draw on their personal history and the life of the individual amidst a society in perpetual change and reflect to what extent culture belongs to past as well as future generations.

The Labo Pro masterclass encourages encounters and exchanges between artists who have a specific interest in working for and with young audiences. In their role of representatives of ASSITEJ Luxembourg, the Rotondes collaborate with their international partners to support the participation of several young foreign artists. The previous Labo Pro were held by the artists Ania Michaelis (DE), Kjell Moberg (NO) and Agnès Limbos (BE).

How to Apply

Please send your application (cover letter and CV) before April 24th to tickets@rotondes.lu.
