Open Call for International Productions
The international children’s arts and culture festival “ELİM SENDE, ÇOCUK- SANAT – İMECE” has been taking place for 7 years in Taylıeli village in Burhaniye, Balıkesir Turkey.
Many artists and art groups support the festival. The festival is organized in cooperation with the art enthusiasts from various different professional backgrounds as well as artists, without any profit motive. All shows can be watched free of charge. It is a non-profit festival, only accommodation and F&B for the participating artists are provided. All shows are performed in “TARLA ZANAT” open space festival venue. The venue has panoramic view to Edremit gulf, is local in the midst of olive trees, by the sea and it is very close to touristic highlights.
The festival program consists of shows from various disciplines such as puppetry, dance, circus, theatre, pantomime as well as exhibitions.
This year, we would like to invite our artist friends from ASSITEJ family. Through ASSITEJ Turkey we would like to launch an open call for artists who would like to participate in the 8th edition of our festival taking place in August 2-3-4, 2019 in Taylıeli Village, Burhaniye, Turkey. During the three day festival, while you perform your productions to children, you can make a holiday and enjoy warm hospitality in Taylıeli village’s beautiful landscape. Taylıeli Village is located 15 minutes to Balıkesir Kocaseyit Airport and 2h30 min to İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport.
