Artists meet Early Years offers to 6 (Italian or international) young artists the chance to meet early years right in the places where children belong to an educational community, crèches and kindergartens.
By offering the chance to present a small performance or a workshop, in order to observe them, collecting suggestions and images that can be useful to the development of a personal artistic research on the youngest ones.
Thanks to Artists meet Early Years, 6 young artists (under 35 years old) will have the opportunity to visit some educational services belonging to IES (institution for schools and education of the Municipality of Bologna) dedicated to children 0-3 or 3-6 years old for two consecutive days, followed by the pedagogues of the group “Sguardo Altrove”, the observatory of the festival.
Visioni is a festival of theatre and culture dedicated to early years, which, since this edition will become part of the new EU project, “Mapping – A Map on the aesthetics of performing arts for early years”.
The artists selected will have the chance to take part to the events of the festival (such as shows, conferences, workshops, meetings, …), but also to exchange their experiences with other artists and to work with the target group of early years’ children. “Visioni di futuro, Visioni di teatro…” will take place at Testoni Ragazzi Theatre in Bologna (Italy) from February 22nd to March 3rd 2019.
Artists meet Early Years will take place from February 25th to March 1st 2019.
This call is open to 6 artists, also to the last year participants, to whom La Baracca – Testoni Ragazzi will offer accommodation and subsistence for 3 days and facilitations for the festival activities.
