Call for Applications: DIRECTORS IN TYA – an international exchange hosted by ASSITEJ Germany
The “International Directors’ Seminar” has a new name. It is now called “DIRECTORS IN TYA” and invites directors from all over the world to discuss their work, experiment and learn from each other.
ASSITEJ Germany invites all national centres to nominate candidates for this opportunity. Every center can nominate one director for a week of practice and discussions around the topic of “Walls” from June 2 – 9, 2019 at Theater STRAHL Berlin.
Walls and borders stimulate curiosity: What’s beyond this wall? What will I discover? Will I be able to return? Would it be better to cross it or to stay where I am?
These questions are children’s questions and – at the same time – artistic questions. What choices do we have? Which walls are ours to cross and which limits do we challenge?
