ASSITEJ Azerbaijan – Azerbaijan State Theater of Young Spectators attaches great importance to the expansion and further development of new mutual artistic relationships with the theaters in foreign countries, as in the last few months.
The artistic staff of the Azerbaijan State Theater of Young Spectators implements new performances and joint international projects within the framework of the State Program “On Azerbaijani theater in 2009-2019” approved by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. One of such projects is the "Love of Nigar" performance, based on the heroic epic of the Turkic world “Koroglu” that was prepared together with Yunus Emre Institute, operating in Baku. Schoolchildren, as well as a lot of other spectators watched the performance with great interest. The performance "White Death" (V. Siqarev) was staged by the theater, that constantly cooperates with schoolchildren, against drug addiction. The performance was performed for schoolchildren and representatives of the younger generation.
