Space Invaders festival – Dublin (IE), 13 > 14 May 2017

Cliodhna Noonan of Acting Up! In Ireland teams up with Fingal arts officer Julie Clarke and artist Jackie Maguire to present the third edition of Space Invaders festival for families and early childhood practitioners on 13 and 14 May 2017.

This year the festival will host companies from Croatia (Puna Kuca), Finland (Dance Theatre Auraco), Poland (Children’s Arts Centre in Poznan) and Ireland (Fiona Kelleher). The artists will present dance, music, theatre and interactive storytelling for local audiences.

Space Invaders is so called because Farmleigh estate is a non-theatre venue in Dublin. Families have the opportunity to enjoy the grounds of the estate after seeing a show.

On the day before the performances early childhood educators are offered the chance to train in a creative workshop setting.
