The first Festival took place in 1982, and it is the oldest and still one of the largest annual festivals in Europe for children and young people. It presents 20-25 different professional theatre performances and provides a broad perspective into stage arts featuring dance, circus, puppet theatre, musicals, ballet and international guests.
