From October 31 to November 2, 2018, ASSITEJ Estonian Center organizes the international theatre festival for young audience ,,NAKS”. The festival is taking place for the sixth consecutive year. Festival is taking place in Estonia, Tallinn in Piip and Tuut mängumajas, Sõltumatu Tantsu Laval, NUKU Theater and VAT Theater. ,,NAKS” is the only festival in Estonia, which is entirely aimed at young audiences. For three days, the festival program will feature both Estonian and foreign troupes, workshops, discussions, panels of experts and round table. The aim of the festival is to provide an overview for young audience offered in Estonian theater stage and introduce the work of foreign troupes to the Estonian people. The goal is also to bring together theaters who create plays for children and youth, and educational and cultural workers, who order performances in their institutions and visit theaters themselves with their students.
