Description

The festival’s name is connected with Samuel Marshak, an outstanding Russian writer, translator (mostly English poetry), and author of children’s books, who was born and lived in Voronezh. All theatre venues of the city are involved in the festival: the Opera and Ballet Theatre, Drama Theatre, Chamber Theatre, TYA, Puppet Theatre “Shut”, and Voronezh concert hall. About 18 thousand people attended the event in 2015, and the festival has become one of the largest Russian theatre forums addressed to children.
