Now, at its 15th edition, International Festival of Contemporary Animation Theatre “ImPuls”, brings to the attention of the Romanian public various styles present in the world animation theatre and visual theatre. ImPuls is a strictly professional festival-competition dedicated to audience of all ages that consolidates and promotes the contemporary tendency in the local and foreign visual and animation theatre. The festival is attended by leading, world-class personalities which give lectures about the latest techniques and research in the animation field, presenting their own projects as examples. Alongside the international presence, domestic participation is likewise strong, with the selection of the best productions of the current theatrical season of relevant Romanian theatres. This notable animation event fosters the cultural exchanges, communication between artists and specialized institutions, gives rise to partnerships or even national, international and intercontinental co-productions.
