In 2019 we ‘come of age’ as the Belfast Children’s Festival turns 21! This year our festival theme is ‘Our Place in the World’ as we encourage children and young people to think about the contribution they make to the world around them as Global Citizens.

So dive into the packed programme of theatre, dance, visual art, music, literature, comedy, creative activities and discussions, guaranteed to inspire creativity and cultural curiosity.

The festival also offers a diverse programme aimed at adults, professional arts practitioners and those working and studying in related fields.

Artists from all over Europe, including The Netherlands and Spain, along with home-grown talent will be presenting shows and interactive experiences in venues and locations across Belfast.
