ASSITEJ International hosts a regular programme of online events for our members to attend virtually. Typically hosted on ZOOM and moderated by members of the Executive Committee, these sessions are opportunities to discuss current news, themes, and ongoing collaborations throughout the year.

Informal online Coffee Sessions for members of ASSITEJ International exploring themes relevant to the sector, which are facilitated by the members of the Executive Committee of ASSITEJ International and led by experts in different subjects. The Coffee Sessions are designed to be a relaxed community space where professionals can connect, meet new people, feel part of an international community, and share concerns that can be included in the Association’s work. Coffee Sessions are sometimes new members’ first introduction to ASSITEJ International and its network of practitioners, so it is an invaluable space to welcome new members.
ASSITEJ International holds sessions targeted towards sector professionals with the common aim of internationalising their professional and artistic practice. It is intended to be peer learning, with more experienced practitioners sharing their thoughts and views.
The sessions include keynotes and roundtables about strategies, know-how, and challenges when approaching international touring. They may be themed around, for example, co-creation, artistic exchange, sustainable touring, working models for remote and distance collaboration, and fundraising for international projects. The sessions will also include presentations on relevant festivals as well as ‘speed networking’ sessions with other professionals.
Informal online sessions for staff and board members of ASSITEJ National Centres and ASSITEJ Professional Networks to support their work on developing their local, national, or regional TYA and its cultural ecosystem. The content of these sessions may include: peer-to-peer exchange about international collaboration projects, membership engagement, local and national advocacy work, stimulating artistic development, and continued networking between membership-based cultural organisations.
