On Saturday, 26 April 2025, a staged reading of Alexia Papalazarou’s theatrical adaptation of the traditional Cypriot folk tale O Spanos and the Forty Dragons (a production by Antilogos Theatre) was presented at the Buenos Aires International Book Fair. The event also featured a projection of woodcut prints by the renowned Cypriot artist Hambis Tsangaris.
The initiative was organised by the Embassy of Cyprus in Argentina and was a collaboration between ASSITEJ Cyprus and ASSITEJ Argentina – ATINA. It took place at the European Union Pavilion of the fair.
