CALL FOR AUDIENCE MEMBERS
Registration is now open to participate as listeners in the 6TH. International Forum of Researchers and Critics of Performing Arts for Children and Young People to be held from 4 to 8 September 2023 from 10 am to 1 pm at ARGENTORES, Pacheco de Melo 1820, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The Forum is organized by ATINA (ASSITEJ Argentina) and ITYARN (International TYA Researchers Network).
This edition will have as its thematic axis “The tensions between what should be, what can be and what is wanted, in the performing arts for children and youth.” “The imposed, the permitted and the creative today”, which will be developed through the reading of papers, conferences and round table debates.
Researchers, critics, students and artists from Argentina- USA- Mexico- Germany- Colombia- Lithuania- India- Cuba and Brazil will present their papers.
They will participate as special guests in lectures and panel discussions: Suzanne Lebeau (Playwright- Canada) ;Manon van de Water (USA- University of Wiscossin); Paulo Merisio (Brazil- University of Rio de Janeiro); Niclas Malncroma (Secretary of ASSITEJ Sweden); Zaida Rico (Secretary of Iberescena- Spain); Gustavo Uano (Director of the Instituto Nacional de Teatro- Argentina); Marina D’Lucca (Director of Proteatro); Raúl Sansica (Director of the Agencia de Cultura Córdoba); Laura Gutman (Coordinator of the Children’s Sector of the Dirección de Industrias Culturales).
The Forum will be held in Spanish and English simultaneously.
The 6th International Forum of Researchers and Critics of Theatre for Children and Young People will have a parallel programme of theatre, play readings and presentation of publications, optional for all participants, which will take place during the afternoons.
The cost of attending the Forum is $ 2000 (living in Argentina) and U$ 150.- for participants living abroad. Students can apply for scholarships to attend at infoatina@gmail.com.
Registration to attend the Forum as a listener is open for students, researchers, artists and teachers until 1 September 2023.
