ASSITEJ Turkey is proud to announce the 26th edition of Bursa International Children and Youth Theatre Festival on November 12-17. Six performances from Turkey and three from various countries will be presented free of charge alongside workshops, seminars and artistic gatherings for TYA practitioners.
Providing its artistic consultancy, ASSITEJ Turkey has been an integral part of the festival that’s an anticipated annual event in the historic city of Bursa. ”Inspiring artists through recognition, promoting growth with international cooperation, and creating a high-quality TYA experience for the public” being the main goals of our involvement, we look forward to reaching more troupes and a bigger audience every year.
With the ongoing support of our hosts and major partners; Bursa Metropolitan Municipality and Bursa Culture, Arts & Tourism Foundation, we’re glad to provide a distinctive selection of performances and online/offline workshops from esteemed theatre professionals and scholars free of charge for six days.
A group of observers from Turkey and abroad is also invited to deliver reports to ensure the sustainable quality of the festival. We’ll be happy to receive your applications next year, and host ASSITEJ members from around the world.
