We chose google group because a Google Group allows all members to post events, CFPs, funding opportunities, etc., and it works well as a mailing list for a volunteer group like ITYARN, as the membership/leadership is constantly changing. No one person has to be in charge of sending out emails to a list; instead, this Group gives the power of communication to the membership to share information with each other, and provides an efficient way to explore all posts. Please bookmark the google group as your favorite!
